Inspiration can come from anywhere. A trip you took, a magazine perused on a cross-country flight, or here.

If that doesn’t work don’t worry - that is what we are for.

SLEEK EUROPEAN STYLED RETAIL

We love that this look says first and foremost - “look at our product.” This is a perfect example of putting the product front and center and also that a simplistic store design can look luxe. What a great design for the retailers where the floor is for selection and the product is held in the back - or in the case of some internet to brick-and-mortar locations in a warehouse ready to be shipped. A WORKSPACE THAT… UMM WORKS

We have all seen it. The curly slides, basketball hoops and kegerator. Office design has gotten out of control. Ok the kegerator we like, but really a slide? Companies - in an attempt to be all hip and cool - have asked for designs that are distracting and unproductive. We love this image for its simplicity (are you sensing a theme here) and yet boldness. It is more or less a white box with strategically placed walls and splashes of color. And the furniture, dare I say comfortable? What… don’t people want to sit in nests and funky colored bikes to do their work? Umm.. no. No they don’t. The common space created has three separate areas that serve different sized groups and for varying levels of formality. And the “skylights” in the ceilings address sprinkler coverage. Clever and practical. BlueOx approved!

LET THE BACKDROP talk. amen.

In Belgium old buildings aren’t too hard to find. And across the world abandoned churches also aren’t too hard to find. The recipe for this glamorous restaurant is one part old church, one part clean simplistic lines (ok I promise I won’t use that word again but you get a sense of what we prioritize in our work) and one part stunning light fixture. Think about how big this space is and literally one item steals the show in a space that required minimal work to prepare for its new function. BlueOx approved!
